Gas utilization compressor station UKG-5/8 is used for the utilization of mine gas (active and closed mines) by its burning in a special chamber. This helps to prevent the discharging of the harmful greenhouse gas – methane (СН4) or to supply the equipment of energy use (to get electricity and heat).

The main consumers of the station are enterprises of food recycling, agriculture, coal and oil industries.
