To Europe via Poltava

The emergence of the enterprise preceded the efficient work with a company named VAUTID (Stuttgart) over a period of several years. That company has been ordering castings for its customers at one of the main enterprises of the concern Ukrrosmetall – Poltava Turbomechanical Plant OJSC. The year before last there were put into operation a new Omega line – the up-to-date molding equipment. This line made it possible to obtain quality castings with dimensional accuracy up to 1,5 mm and to make non-waste production, which is much more environmentally appropriate than other technologies. The second Omega came into operation the last year. Also there were purchased and implemented three modern melting furnaces which made it possible to shorten electricity consumption and to diversify a nomenclature of casting alloys (among them – wear-resistant cast iron, steel). Due to these factors VAUTID company on the one hand and directors of Ukrrosmetall and PTMP on the other hand made the following decision: successful cooperation, castings demand in the world are a good ground for such a local “European integration” until the moment of foundation of the joint enterprise.
